Darlind completed this complex maintenance facility in the spring of 2007. The 14,470 square foot structure is a hybrid building utilizing both pre-engineered and conventional construction. The energy efficient structure's design features include architectural metal roofing. and elaborate insulation and mechanical systems, including complete in-slab radiant heat.
The site work comprised over 50% of the total project scope, and included rock removal, site improvements, paving, and underground utility work. There were also two horizontal borings under a four lane, state highway to connect water and sewer.
